R&B artist and phenomenal human being, Beyoncé Knowles premiered a new short film to commemorate the one year anniversary of her Visual Album release.
Most people will remember last year when Beyoncé quietly dropped her self-titled record along with corresponding music videos for each track. The Internet went into full overdrive and it was like the 21st century equivalent of the moon landing.
The 11-minute video entitled Yours & Mine sees Beyoncé in a mix of new and recycled imagery that is both illuminating and somber.
In what looks like a cross between a perfume ad and a Coen brothers film, Beyoncé tackles tough subjects like motherhood, marriage, and fame, exposing herself in a very personal voiceover monologue.
When you're famous, nobody looks at you like a human anymore. You become the property of the public. There is nothing real about it. You can’t put your finger on who I am. I can’t put my finger on who I am.Beyoncé,Yours & Mine
