Girl, you messed up.
Looks like Jessie J is going to need a crash course in social media etiquette. Rule number one: Thou shall not follow just to unfollow.
The singer was probably feeling some heat from fans earlier this week when she engaged in a massive social media cull. Her followers reacted pretty angrily to being unfollowed after it became apparent that she had unfollowed every single person on the micro blogging site.
In a series of since deleted tweets, Jessie J wrote:
I find it insane that some people take being unfollowed like a personal attack. If I punched you in the face fair enough. But I didn’t….Meh.Jessie J
I don't blame Jessie J's fans going on a mad one, I'd be offended if someone I supported for years unfollowed me too. One follow says a lot!— Tan (@TaniaAktar_) April 28, 2015
Totally lost all respect for Jessie j. Cannot abide people who treat there fans like that!
Jessie J is coming across as selfish and rude. The fans she's unfollowing are fans who've got her to where she is now. So ungrateful.— lydia (@lydia_manganCFV) April 28, 2015
I'm sorry if I offended anyone. It's NEVER my intention.— Jessie J (@JessieJ) April 28, 2015
