You can no longer curse people with "I hope you step on a Lego!"
In Internet Magic news this week, Lego have done a thing. No, in fact, they have done a great public service, for which we are forever grateful. Thank you, dearest Lego, for inventing *drumroll* The Anti-Lego Slipper.
In all fairness, it's pretty much a regular slipper with an extra 1143534 layers of padding (the exact amount is unconfirmed by Lego) that you can use to step around in the dark. All your nightly trips to the fridge have now been made 1000% safer, as long as you don't mind looking like this.
The slipper is part of Lego's Christmas campaign with a marketing company called Brand Station. This masterpiece of engineering was unveiled last week, along with a How It's Made-style video of the production process.
So, uh, now that that's taken care of, excuse us while we go out and buy ALL THE LEGO sets. All of them. Every single one.*
Thank you, Lego. Because nobody should have to deal with this pain again.
*except the Star Wars Ewok Village. We have standards.
