...on and on and on and on and...
In the past year or so, 6-second video platform Vine has become such an enormous content powerhouse that it's hard to remember that its original draw was its infinite looping ability.
But while "loops" have become the new "views" as" the site has become overrun with fast-paced, absurdist and sometimes an eensy bit racist humour, there are plenty of creators who are still using the site's signature feature to hack their videos into an infinite, unpausable piece of awesomeness. Check out some of our favourites below.
Setting the bar high, Viner Linda E P O manages to not only infinitely loop herself singing, but also loop three different harmonies recorded separately. TALENT.
We all know this guy.
Okay, we can't get over people's ability to tell a whole story in the tiny timeframe they get with Vine. But it helps when you can make it infinite with some slick editing.
Acoustic guitar pro Trench never fails to keep us captivated, with his guitar/harp/dog renditions of famous hooks that just keep on looping.
Trench's gorgeous dog Maple (who guest stars in plenty of his loops) has her own Vine, where she mostly just vogues ad infinitum in the snow. It's hypnotising.
This amazing piano cover of "Lost Woods Theme" from Ocarina Of Time is special in that we can't even tell where the loop ends.
THIS IS MESSING WITH OUR HEADS.
Well, this is the most calming way to end things, I guess.
