We'll never hear it though because the world is terrible.

One Direction aren't ones to shy away from a good song writing session. Just ask Meghan Trainer. However, the song writing session we're most keen to hear the results of is the Fall Out Boy/One Direction session.

The four piece spoke to the Daily Star recently, revealing that they had worked with One Direction on some new songs but that they hadn’t made it to the album.

"It was a great session but I don't know if Fall Out Boy writes what One Direction wants to sing," said Pete Wentz, speaking on the collaboration.

That would, of course, explain this photo of Fall Out Boy with 4/5 of One Direction and Matt Healy of the 1975 circa March 2014.

Wentz revealed that there were multiple songs written for One D's latest album, Four, but that they were likely too "odd" to be included in the final cut. Fans probably wouldn't mind the cross over as both acts appeal to a relatively young female audience.

Since we don't have the real thing, listen to these mashups of One Direction and Fall Out Boy songs and try to use your imagination.
