Krist Novoselic takes us on a nostalgia trip in a new clip from "Montage Of Heck".
When you think of the legendary influence that Nirvana still has on people today, it's hard to imagine them pre-fame as a group of dumb kids just jamming in someone's house. But a newly-released clip from upcoming Kurt Cobain documentary Montage Of Heck seeks to show us the awesome truth.
"If we played together in the house for a couple of hours, and if two people stopped by, we considered that a gig," admits former bassist Krist Novoselic. "That was good enough, we had an audience."
Krist talks over some grainy footage of the band jamming in their late teens, telling his side of the band's formation and how started working with Kurt, explaining that "he'd always have to do some kind of art; usually defacing something."
"He never had idle hands, it just came out of him; he had to express himself."
Montage Of Heck debuts on HBO in May. You can watch the minute-long clip below.
